WHAT DO YOU NEED TO RENT "IL ROSSO" VESPA?

To ride with “IL ROSSO" VESPA you need:

• Previous experience driving a scooter/motorbike;
• Valid passport or identity card;
• Valid driving license.
• Credit card or cash to pay the security deposit

WHAT TYPE OF DRIVING LICENSE DO YOU NEED ?

According to the Italian law the following driving licenses are valid to drive our Vespas:

• Vespa 125cc:
  You simply need a car category B or motorcycle European Driving License: A, A1, A2, or International Driving License: A
  
  
• Vespa 150cc and 300cc:
  For more powerful scooter you’ll need motorcycle European Driving License: A, A2 or International Driving License: A

IS IT DIFFICULT TO RIDE OUR VESPA SCOOTERS ?

To rent our Vespas a prior scooter or motorbike driving experience is strongly required. Anyway during our twenty-minute pre-tour training session we’ll explain how the scooter works and how to ride it. It is absolutely safe as you follow our recommendations.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GUIDED AND SELF-GUIDED TOURS?

If you prefer to travel on your own, the trip leader will not ride with you. We will provide you with all the necessary information about the route and, if necessary, you can always contact us. If you prefer a professional guide to accompany you, we will gladly provide you with the services of our best travel guides.

HOW CAN YOU PAY?

You can pay by credit or debit cards, PayPal or cash.You can also provide in advance bank transfer.

IS ANY INSURANCE PROVIDED?

Your tour price includes third party liability(TPL), named in Italy as RCA.Maximum covered by our insurance is €10.000.000,00.

DO YOU NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

To rent a scooter you need VISA or MASTERCARD (no Electron) credit card. When you arrive at “IL ROSSO”, you will be asked to leave a security deposit. The same is payable by credit card, debit card or cash. The full amount of this deposit will be refunded if you return the scooter and the accessories in the same original conditions.

DO YOU NEED ANY SPECIAL GEAR?

Each of our scooters is equipped with a raincoat. We will also provide you with a safety helmet. Keep in mind that most of our routes run in the hills, where the temperature may be slightly lower than on the coast. Therefore, we recommend that you grab a sweater or jacket.
